Boho for Fall

So let's pretend that it's fall in California, even though it clearly doesn't feel like it.

A little part of me is still excited that I can get away with wearing shorts and sandals this month, or maybe that's just because I'm dying of heat. The other part of me really wants to wear fall attire, I'm patiently waiting to wear all my boots! Sigh.

Now a lot of people have been asking me how they can maintain that boho look for the fall. It's easy! Adding the right type of clothing styles can add the perfect touch to fall boho.

Here are two looks that are simple to re-create:

I love this look because it's nice and casual. Everyone loves a pair of slightly ripped dark denim and an oversized sweater. This striped sweater is perfect because it adds some pattern to your "all black" outfit and the color of these boots give an extra pop to your outfit! Don't forget to add some lace and fringe; this Nightcap top and Cleobella bag are the perfect addition to your boho look.

This boho for fall outfit is a perfect transition from day to night. I absolutely love this For Love & Lemons Suede dress with its cute but sexy lace detail. During the day, you can pair this dress with a drape jacket; this is a perfect jacket to stay warm and to still see the dress you have under it! Add some accessories like a scarf, belt, or hat. And how amazing are these boots?! For the night out, simply pair this lovely dress with a leather jacket and these boots...and you are all set to go!

Re-creating these looks are fairly easy. Just make sure to not wash yourself out by wearing too much black. There are several pieces you can use to pop some color or using patterns. And if you need to stay warm, don't be shy to layer. You can find tons of layering pieces that can make your outfit better!
